Editing

At this point, our group feel so close to finishing, yet so far. all the clips that we need are all uploaded. Its just the case of putting it all together. However, this was not easy. My group had to think about the timing of the clips with the music, plus the transitions. A lot of this was changed over time as something seemed to be missing. Turns out that some of the shots had background sound and some others different. To overcome this we had two solutions; to turn down the footage volume or add back ground music. Finally we decided to use music. This way it can help set the mood and I have realised that it helps link the footage clips together.
Another problem we had while editing, was by realising more monologue was needed to help the audience understand what was going on. When it was decided that it had to be a voice of another character, who else  could except the abductor? Yet this was a problem because we needed a male voice at the time. This is when I came up with the idea to use a male voice simulator. However this did not work out to well because the voice still wasn't right. Which meant we had to find some one say "Look at me". When this was edited in, we knew it was right.
During this session of editing, we found out how to slow down our footage. This came in really handy when we added the girls monologue voice over. It helps the audience focus on what was going on at the same time of being able to hear what it being said. It was very effective and already it gained our attention. One of the viewers said "I want to know what else happens!".
