Filming briefing ~ 4

The next step here was to link our footage. This is when our group came up with the idea to zoom into the poster, then switch to the main character, here we will then zoom out. This way the audience will realise that she has gone missing and who the character is. this meant that part of our group had to film the poster. This was a problem; due to the fact of the positioning of the camera and the tripod. It was too low which made the shot slightly off centre. Which resulted us to film with a free hand, which was shaky. This took a lot of attempts to get the shot right too.
Luckily, because we was on a public path, we did not need permission to film here and could take long as needed… which was a long time!
As we was filming outside, the weather was a large consideration. It was helpful that is was pretty darker which will help to set the mood of the opening too. Another reason why we made sure all the filming was done in one day, was to assure the weather was the same. The difference is very noticeable and can be dodgy.
